Saree history
A saree is a traditional Indian garment worn primarily by women, consisting of a length of cloth that can range from four to nine yards. This garment is wrapped around the waist and draped over the shoulder, leaving the midriff exposed.
They are typically adorned with beautiful patterns and designs, and are made from various materials such as silk, cotton, and synthetic fibers.
Saree steps
Step1:
Start by tucking one end of the saree in the petticoat at your waist.make sure that the lower end of the saree touches the floor.
Step 2:
Make about 7-8 pleats and hold them up together so that they are falling straight and even.
Step5:
Leave enough saree at the end to hang down the back from the shoulder.the end piece that is draped over the shoulder is called the pally.
Step 7 :
You can secure the pleats at your waist with a pin if needed.
Step 8:
Check your appearance in a full length miror.The saree should draped and fall gracefully and the pallu should hang down your back.if needed,adjust the pleats,tuck the saree tighter or rearrange the pally until it looks just right.
Step 9:
Don’t forget to accessorize with traditional Indian jewelry to complete the look.This can include Bangle’s earrings,neckless,bindi,and even decorative hair pins.
Step 10:
checking quality: The saree goes through a stringent quality check to ensure there are no defects in the weaving,embroidery ,or the durning.
