Silk saree history 

Silk sarees are often intricately designed with rich embroidery and vibrant colors.

 

They are popular for weddings, festivals, and other special occasions due to their elegant and luxurious appeal. Different regions of India have their own styles and designs of silk sarees, such as Banarasi, Kanjeevaram, and Mysore silk.

1:Design planing : firstly an artistic and appealing design for the saree is                  Conceptualized  and sketched .This process often involves looking for inspiration in various pattern ,motifs and colour.

 

2: Yarn preparation: silk yarn is then procured  and clean to remove any Impurities

3: Dyeing: The yarn is dyed in the  chosen colour. Traditionally,this was done using natural dyes but synthetic dyes are also commonly used now.

4: Thread setting: The dyed silk yarn is then wound onto a charkha and then set on the  loom for waving.

 

5: Weaving: Weavers skillfully weave the yarns into sarees on traditional handlooms.for elaborate design,a technique know as jacquard weaving is used.

6: Adding the details: any intricate zari work or ambridrey on the saree is done post the weaving .this  is usually handcrafted  by skilled by artisans.

7: checking quality: The saree goes through a stringent  quality check to ensure there are no defects in the weaving,embroidery ,or the durning.

9: packaging: once all the steps are complete, the Saree is folded, packed carefully to prevent any damage  during transportation.

10: Marketing & seller: The finished product is then sold either directly in stores, through distributors or online.it is then purchased by the consumer and worn with pride.
